KYIV (Reuters) – Ukrainian parliament approved the appointment of lawmaker Andriy Kostin as the country’s prosecutor common on Wednesday, the prosecutor general’s business reported.
Some 299 deputies in the 450-seat parliament endorsed Kostin’s appointment, it explained on the Telegram messaging application.
Kostin is a member of President Volodymyr Zelenskiy’s Servant of the People get together. The president had before nominated Kostin to exchange Iryna Venediktova, who was taken out as prosecutor standard previously this thirty day period.
